Electronic music DJ and producer under the pseudonym Jasx. Beginning his studies in 1996 at the Maldonado Conservatory (bass and Solfeggio), he manages to complement his self-taught knowledge of guitar and percussion inherited from his musician parents. In 1999 he entered the Buen Ayre Conservatory in La Reja, Buenos Aires, studying Harmony, Guitar and Drums. Due to things in life, he flew to Japan in 2003 and together with Eduardo Kunizawa they formed the band "Katarsis" in the city of Shizuoka, specializing in progressive instrumental music. He returns to Uruguay in 2007 and meets the band again and decides to continue the project culminating in a band contest marking the end of the band for different reasons. At the same time, he plays with Santiago Beis fusion of Jazz, candombe, electronics and they manage to record a demo with the name "TEX" which gave the duo its name. From there his taste for production and electronics arose immediately and he continued his self-taught studies in Audio and different DAWs. In 2012 he joined the Polaroids band as a drummer with which he managed to record the album "Caminos". At that time, their experimental tracks were already beginning to be heard on the networks where a defined genre was never seen but there was a desire for creation. In 2014, after playing at the "Graffiti" awards, the band dissolved and decided to pour all its potential into the production of electronic music to date. Today he has more than 100 of his own compositions ranging from Downtempo, Minimal, Progressive, to the most elaborate Techno, editing for Minemal Records, EP Records, Vitamina Recordings, Strato Records, Modus Vivendi, Dark Mirror Records, Arey Label, Metanola and independently. He belongs to the collective of DJs FUSION as a resident and you can find his sessions on the best-known platforms.
