Jimmy Bidaurreta is an eclectic pianist, composer and producer from Basque Country. Can be found at some variable point among Latin, World-Music, Soul-Funk, Jazz, Electronic or Traditional Basque Music. He is the conductor of the Gasteiz Big Band (as well as a producer and arranger) with whom he has edited numerous publications and performed with musicians such as Fred Wesley (trombone), Miguel Zenón (sax) or the singer Sole Giménez. He plays keyboards and synth bass in Aldakan, a broad-spectrum Latin band. He is part of the Soul4Real backing band where he has accompanied historical Soul singers (Lenny Williams, Joe Bataan, Barbara Mason, ...). He was nominated at the III UFI Awards (Independent Music) for the Best Electronic Music Album ("Cosmonaut Camel") and Best Urban Music Album (“Bing Bang" with the Gasteiz Big Band).
